Obituary of Herbert Bryant

Herbert "Bo" Bryant, Jr., 72, of Prince George went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 16 2015. He is preceded in death by his parents, the late Evelyn Brown and Herbert W. Bryant, Sr. Bo was a longtime member of Woodlawn Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon, on the board of deacons and was a Sunday school teacher for the men's Sunday school class. He retired from Honeywell, formerly Allied Signal, & was a veteran of the United States Naval Reserve. Bo is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Phyllis Bryant; his son, Mark Weymouth Bryant (Gloria); his three daughters, April Lynn Vestal (Mark), Jennifer Ann Kuhns (Joe), Kelli Marie Guy (Billy); grandchildren, Joshua Vestal (Liz), Heather Boyce (Tristan), Kayla Bryant, Justin Bryant, Addison Guy, Luke Kuhns, Greyson Guy; three great grandchildren, Glorianne Bryant, Micaiah Vestal, Griffin Boyce; sisters, Marilyn Bishop (Joe), Anne Creel; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 19 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Woodlawn Baptist Church. Bo's celebration of life will be on Wednesday, May 20 at 11 a.m. in Woodlawn Baptist Church, 3512 Virginia Street, Hopewell, Virginia 23860, with Pastor Ken Hendricks officiating. Interment will be in Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Woodlawn Baptist Church Children's Ministry.
