Obituary of Leonard William Wells

Leonard William Wells, Sr., 60, of Dinwiddie passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2012 in the Medical College of Virginia. Mr. Wells was an avid gardener and the son of the late, George and Mae Marie Wells. He is survived by two sons, Leonard W. Wells, Jr and wife, Tammy, Roy Wells, a daughter, Maria Nowling and husband, Kevan, two grandchildren, Frank Zaharek and Savannah Wells, six sisters, Betty, Martha, Jackie, Nancy, Bonnie and Angela. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 pm Friday, December 21, 2012 at the Memorial Funeral Home, 214 N. 6th Avenue, Hopewell, VA. A graveside service will be conducted 3:00 pm Saturday, December 22, 2012 in Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens with Rev. Riley Nunnally officiating.
