Obituary of Angelo Spiros Frangopoulos

Angelo Spiros Frangopoulos, 81, of Chesterfield passed away on Saturday January 2, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents; Spiros and Sofia Frangopoulos, and a brother Victor Frangopoulos. Born in Aliquippa Pa, he graduated from Geneva College in Beaver Falls PA., where he earned his engineering degree. After forty years of service he retired from Honeywell, formerly Allied Chemical, he continued working for several Engineering firms as Project Estimator. He was a member of Saint Elpis Greek Orthodox Church where he served as President of Church Council, and past President of Ahepa association. Surviving are his wife Patricia Frangopoulos, son Kevin Frangopoulos (Lisa) Cola. SC, daughter; Katharine Frangopoulos, VA, Sister; Mary Mantzavinos (Chris), Wilmington De., sister-in-law; Claudette Frangopoulos Racine WI., beloved grandchildren; Rachel, Erica, Michael, Abbey, Emily, and several Cousins, Nieces and Nephews. A special thanks to Phyllis Jones for the loving assistance and care given. The family will receive friends Jan.6th from 6-8pm at Memorial Funeral Home, 214 N. 6th Avenue, Hopewell VA., where a Trisagiin service will be conducted by Father Chris at 7:30 pm. Funeral Services will be Jan. 7, 2016, 10:00 am at Saint Elpis Greek Orthodox Church 107 Memorial Ave . Hopewell, Va. 23860, interment will follow in Appomattox Cemetery, Hopewell.
