Obituary of Veronica Marschner Muller

Veronica "Vera" Marschner Muller, 86, of Hopewell, VA born on January 12,1928 was called by the angels to be with our Father in heaven on August 16, 2014. She was born in New Jersey and worked as an executive secretary for Texaco Company in its Chrysler Building in New York City until moving to Virginia with her husband and 1st son in 1953. She is preceded in death by her sisters Myra Mathieu and Anna Eckardt along with her son Raymond A. Muller and granddaughter Avery Spence. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years George R. Muller and children Steven G. Muller (Dreama) of Midlothian, VA, Kenneth R. Muller(Judy) of Gum Spring, VA, Donald E. Muller of Prince George, VA, Janet M. Shreckhise(Steve) of Weyers Cave, VA, Douglas J. Muller (Debra) of Orlean, VA, Barbara M. Prillaman (Cliff) of Powhatan, VA, Carolyn M. Spence (Paul) of Midlothian, VA as well as 14 surviving grandchildren Tiffany Muller Shomo, Crystal Muller, Brooke Muller, Kenneth Muller II, Amber Muller Craft, Donna Muller Eure, Tara Muller Jones, Robert Shreckhise, Ryan S. Cave, Julie Shreckhise, Daniel Prillaman, Megan Prillaman, Aryn Spence and Ashton Spence and 7 great grandchildren and counting Reese Shomo, Nyla Shomo, Aspen Craft, Brox Craft, Bristol Eure, Cadance Jones, and Ryerson Jones. She will be remembered for her gift of gab, laughter, and love of all children. She and her husband George have been long term members of St. James Catholic Church in Hopewell, VA. Visitation with rosary will occur at Memorial Funeral Home at 214 N 6th St in Hopewell on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 from 6-8 pm. Mass will be held at St. James Catholic Church at 510 W Poythress St. in Hopewell on Wednesday, August 20 at 11:00 am followed by interment at Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens in Prince George County.
