Obituary of Emily Sulc Marks
Emily Sulc Marks, 82, of Prince George, VA, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2012. She was the widow of Kerry Dale Marks. Born February 24, 1930 in Prince George County, daughter of the late Bedrick and Julia Kreicar Sulc. Mrs. Marks was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Hopewell and charter member of the Hopewell Women of the Moose and known in the community for making floral arrangements for arts and crafts festivals. She is survived by three daughters, Sylvia Cibula (Ernie) of Prince George; Lynette Dooley (Kevin Harvey) of Church Road and Denise Hampton (Gary) of Varina, four grandchildren, Victoria Lewis and Michael Johnson of Dinwiddie; Elizabeth Holland of Prince George and Miranda Johnson of Delaware, great grandchildren, Madison Lewis and Ta'te Johnson, sister, Evelyn Chezik of Hopewell, numerous nieces and nephews and her loving caregivers, Donna, Patricia (T.T.), Robin and Ann. She was preceded in death by siblings, Virginia Tomko and Bedrick (Ben) Sulc of Prince George and Nancy Tanner of Hopewell. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday, June 1, 2012 at the Memorial Funeral Home-Gould Chapel, 214 N. 6th Avenue, Hopewell, VA and where funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm Saturday, June 2, 2012 with Rev. Wayne Good officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Prince George Emergency Crew or Fire Dept. Co. 1 or Crater Community Hospice.
