Obituary of R. Elizabeth McCracken

R. Elizabeth "Meme" McCracken, 73, of Hopewell, went to be with the Lord Sunday, April 1, 2012 in John Randolph Medical Center. Mrs. McCracken was preceded in death by her father, Russell Irving Nunn, her mother, Lorraine Thompson Lambert, a sister, Louella Robinette and her brother, Bernard Nunn. She is survived by her husband, Robert Holland McCracken, two daughters, Donna and Mary McCracken, two sons, Joe Wayne and Gary McCracken, five grandchildren, Savannah, Amber, Emily, Samantha and Jacob McCracken, two sisters, Shirley Roberson and Ginny Rodriguez; Sister-in-law, Danielle Davis, also numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:30 pm Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at the Memorial Funeral Home- Gould Chapel, 214 N. 6th Avenue, Hopewell, VA and where funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am, Wednesday, April 4, 2012 with Rev.
