Obituary of Dean McNew

MCNEW, Dean Wade, 77, of Hopewell went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 22, 2015. He is survived by his loving daughters, Deana Harris and Tamera Davis; granddaughter, Tiffany Black; grandsons, Travis Chapell, Jr., Christopher Davis and Steven Davis; great granddaughter, Glorie Lynn Chapell, sister, Martha Hicks and a special niece, Leslie Burdette. Dean was a past member of Colonial Heights Moose Lodge and an active member in Matoaca Sportsman's Club. He was also well known for nicknaming all his family. The family will receive friends for a memorial gathering on November 28, 2015 at 306 Hoke Avenue in Hopewell from 3 to 5 p.m. Condolences may be registered online at www.memorialfh.com.
