Obituary of Michael Ecker

Michael Ecker, 67, of Hopewell passed away on Monday December 8, 2014. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Joan Brown. Michael is survived by his sons, Donald and Michael Ecker; his stepdaughter Leslee Key; grandchildren, Joey and Danielle; a great granddaughter Millie and a host of extended family members. Michael was a devoted husband and father who worked for Algers as a machinist for over 35 years. He was a member of the Moose Lodge #663 and enjoyed playing pool and had several trophies he was very proud of. The family will receive friends for his memorial service at 2 p.m. on Saturday December 13, 2014 at Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Service (214 N. 6th Ave Hopewell, VA 23860). Interment will be private.
