Every now and then I go thru my box of treasures and see all the cards she sent me,, reading her special messages on each one. My dear cousins, hard to believe its coming up on one year. I still can hear that sweet voice talking to me, calling me babycakes sandy and her precious "i love you" at the end of our conversations. She was always the first with Birthday cards, she never forgot, and signed them "Kissy Kissy" I have tears I know your hearts are aching to hear that sweet voice again, I care, I love you all, GOD BLESS ♥♥♥♥

Your Mother and I met at the Colonial Heights High School. We shared many days shoping & playing bingo. Many nights talking and eating sardines on crackers with mustard. Barb, my prayers and thoughts have been with you since I found out. Your mom sure did have a tragic beginning but a wonderful life with your dad and you girls. You all did her proud with how you described her lifes journey, I am sure she is looking down with love and admiration. I now know where you get your creative qualities from. Wish it were closer so I could attend the ceremony. Love you.

Barbara, You know how sorry I am at the loss of your Mom. When I read her "story", it warmed my heart to know that she lived a full life not only with your Daddy but with her 4 girls! I know you will all miss her dearly but she's all around you in the warmth of the sun on your face, the refreshing feel of the wind in your hair, the comforting sound of the ocean waves, the beauty of springtime flowers and above all, the LOVE in your heart. My dear cousins., I'm going to miss the phone calls with my Auntie Babycakes, her sweetness and love is something so special to me. She always made me feel so special and loved. I'm sure you all know that all too well. ♥♥♥ She is in the loving arms of her dear husband now, and I'm sure he is sharing her with her siblings that loved her so.
