Obituary of Stevie "Steve" Ray Manuel

Stevie ‘Steve’ Ray Manuel, 63, of Dinwiddie, VA, passed away January 16, 2024. He was born and raised in Colonial Heights, VA, and the son of the late Jackie “Jack” and Virginia ‘Millie’ Manuel. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Meghan; his daughters Trinity Manuel and Priscilla Reynolds; Priscilla’s husband, Rodney Reynolds, Jr.; sister, Lynn Williams and her husband, Michael Williams; as well as niece, Whitney; and nephew, Zachary; and their families. Steve enjoyed fishing and listening to all types of music, the louder the better. One of his favorite past times was being outside in the sun at the beach. He could spend hours out there no matter how hot it was. He worked for several years as a professional truck driver and did some work as a carpenter. No services will be held as Steve’s wishes were to be an organ donor and cremated. In honor of his life, his ashes will be spread in the ocean so he may forever be at peace. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to the mental health society.
