I worked with Korby for years at the Northland Inn. He was like a father figure to me. I'm deeply saddened to learn that he's no longer with us. His humor and guidance is something I will never forget. We would have the greatest conversations over coffee early in the morning at the hotel, and he would always make the day interesting. He attended my wedding in 2004, and I was so happy to have him there. He was the best coworker I've ever had! I was thinking of him tonight, and thanks to the internet, I was saddened that I found this instead of a way to talk with him one more time. RIP Korbitz, I hope you're there to greet me someday. I miss you my friend!

My dad was the best father ever! He was there in every area I needed help or just sit down and talk. I will miss his sense of humor and the loving heart that he has. I also remember him for being an awesome chef, he can cook up a storm. He was also the best fisherman, Go get those bass dad!!! I can just see my dad now praising God and with now pain! Amen!!!

I remember meeting Korbe about 1968 at MEA (Minneapolis Evangelistic Auditorium) In downtown Mpls. It seems almost like yesterday singing in the choir under the direction of Buddy Harrison. Korbe loved to sing and had a beautiful voice up until he left us for his mansion up over the hilltop.
So very happy Korbe knew Jesus and lived a sincere Christian life I am rejoicing for the fact that he is walking the streets of gold now, and does not have any more pain.
Remembering you buddy,
Steven Amundson
