Dear Mrs. Minor/Sheila, Kaitlin, and Family,
While we cannot attend Mr. Minor's funeral, due to COVID-19, we pray that God will give you peace and comfort during this difficult time. We too share your loss. Please know that you are not alone and we are here for you, if you need us. We will always remember David as a Servant of God, for he was always willing to listen to and to help others. The Ft. Lee Memorial Chapel and Adult Sunday School Class will not be the same without him. We will never forget his Christian spirit, wisdom, peacefulness, and kindness. He was a great gentleman. Heaven has received a Shining Star.
Sending our love and sincere condolences,
Charles & Amanda

David is one of God's "chosen" soldiers. His contributions to our Chapel and to all of us at Memorial through his loving attention to the landscaping and beautification of the grounds will stand as a MEMORIAL to his giving spirit and love for the Lord. He was, and will remain, our dear friend. To Sheila and the rest of his family, our thoughts and prayers go with you for ever. The Scripture teaches us that no matter the hardships of the day, "...JOY COMES IN THE MORNING!"

Sorry to hear about David. I remember David had a new 1957 Ford. He would let me drive it all over Chesterfield, Richmond etc. He said " I'm going to teach you drive like you have some sense. He did. I knew his sister too. Shelia, Sorry for your loss

Mr. Minor was a very humble person. He tried to help you in any way he could. I watched him when he was in his 80s watering grass at the chapel and even leveling out gravel. Even when sometimes I was there at either Liberty or Memorial sometimes he would come by and check on the yards. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
