William Bill Madsen

William Arthur Madsen, 75, of Petersburg, passed away on Monday January 27, 2014. He was the son of the late Harold A. and Wilhelmina Wickershiem Madsen. He was a US Army veteran with 10 years of faithful service to his country, after the army he went to work for Honeywell and served as a technician for 37 years before retiring in 2003. Bill was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years Shirley M. Madsen; daughters Sharon Wright, Kathy Gibbs (Richard), Willie Branzelle (Ricky), Theresa Williams, Melissa Stigall, Candace Tedder ( William); son Charles L. Williams, Jr., 13 Grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; sister Linda L McKeown; brothers Harold, Lester, David, and Farrell Madsen, numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 3, 2014, 1:00PM at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church 3110 Greenwood Ave Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834.
