Vincent Carmon Dimarco

Vincent Carmon DiMarco, 81, of Hopewell passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2012 in John Randolph Medical Center. Mr. DiMarco was past president of Local Retirees Association, life member of the American Legion Post #284, Colonial Heights, VA, Hall of Fame member, Virginia State Bowling Association, past president Petersburg District Bowling association, member of Saint James Catholic Church, retired from Allied Chemical and a retired U.S. Army veteran. He is survived by his wife, Christina Williams DiMarco, two sons, Michael James and Joseph Paul DiMarco, two daughters Mary Ann DiMarco Dridi and Teresa DiMarco Isom, a sister, Mary DiMarco Whitmore, eight grandchildren, one great grandchild, also numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday, January 6, 2012 at the Memorial Funeral Home-Gould Chapel, 214 N. 6th Avenue, Hopewell, VA. A Rite of Christian Burial will be conducted 11:00 am Saturday, January 7, 2012 at the Saint James Catholic Church with Father Frank Wiggins officiating. Interment will follow in Bermuda Memorial Park, Chester, VA, with full military honors.
