Timothy Ray Mooring

Timothy Ray Mooring, 49, of Hopewell, VA, passed away on Wednesday, October 26th, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lois Leo “LL” Mooring and Vennie Bowen Mooring. He is survived by his daughter, Kelsey Inez Mooring; his sister, Brenda Sue Mooring; his significant other of eight years, Ida Mary Gray; all of her family that became his family, Marie Oliver Smith, Dawn Aquino, Crystal Hendricks, Gracie, Heather Doughty, Caitlin, and Noah; and numerous other extended family and friends. Timothy spent his life being a dedicated and loving father, significant other, friend, and worker. He loved being an equipment operator for Chesterfield County and met many wonderful people while working there. He had a witty personality and enjoyed making people laugh, watching the “G-men” lose every Sunday, going to concerts, his dog, Leonidas, anything scary, including Halloween, and spending time with his family and friends. He will always be remembered as a loving person to anyone who needed it. The family will receive friends and family on November 20th, between 4-6 PM at Demolition Coffee (215 E Bank St, Petersburg, VA 23803). Refreshments will be available for purchase.
