Thelma Gunn Mclean

Thelma Gunn McLean, 101, passed away May 12, 2012. She was a member of Broadway Baptist Church and the choir for a number of years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Horace P. McLean; she is survived by a daughter, Shirley M. Swann, of Hopewell; two sons, Allen W. McLean, of Henry, Va., and Barry P. McLean, of Chester, Va.; a half-brother, Berkley W. Howell, of Hopewell; seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and seven great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at the Memorial Funeral Home, 214 N. 6th Avenue, Hopewell, VA.
