Sylvia Wood

WOOD, Sylvia "Susie" Estep, 77, of Hopewell went to be with the Lord on September, 30, 2015. She was the daughter of Frank and Ada Crockett Estep. Susie is preceded in death by her husband Earl Wood Sr. She is survived by her daughter, Sheliah Dovel (Ronnie); her son, Earl Wood Jr. (Lisa); grandchildren, Leslie and Michael Wood; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins in Virginia, West Virginia and Kentucky. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 5, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home, 214 N. 6th Ave in Hopewell. Her graveside service will be on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Merchants Hope. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Wesley UMC, 2901 Norfolk Street, Hopewell, VA 23860.
