Susan Margaret Cook Hobbs

Susan Margaret Cook Hobbs, 96, of Hopewell, died Sunday, August 30th at Superior Residency in Niceville, Florida. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents Harvey Benson and Jessie Bethea Cook of Lake City, SC. , Husband of 50 years James Jordon Hobbs, Sisters: Eugenia Cox Dunn, Josephine Wright, Jessie Lou (Lucy ) McDaniel, Brothers: Bethea and Vardell Cook, Nephews: Larry McDaniel, Ben Cook Jr , and Bobby Hobbs . God has blessed her with a long life and she was very active in her church and members of both 1st United Methodist church and 1st Christian Church Disciples of Christ of Hopewell, Member of The Order of The Eastern Star since 1948 (ADAH Chapter 7 and Alpha #1), Red Hat Society , Daughters of The American Revolution, and other organizations. She is survived by her Sister in law: Rosemarie Cook of Lake City SC., Nieces: Elizabeth Wright Thompson, Joann Wright Brown, Darlene Wright Cain, Mary Cox Forbes, Edna Cook Schuler, Lana McDaniel Spears, Rosalyn Simons, and Betty Hobbs, Nephews: Harvey Cox and Roger Douglas. The family will receive friends on Friday September 4, 2015 in the chapel of Memorial Funeral Home Hopewell from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM following the visitation in the chapel. Interment will be in Appomattox Cemetery.
