Shirley Ann Swann

Shirley Ann Swann, 82, of Hopewell went to be with The Lord on Thursday, July 12, 2018. She is preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Thelma Gunn McLean; brothers, Barry and Wayne McLean and a son, Glenn Swann, Jr. Shirley is survived by her son, David Wayne Swann; grandchildren, David Phillip Swann, Anthony Rhea Swann, Savannah Rhea Swann, Gabrielle Christian, Tabitha Ashley Swann, Timothy Andrew Swann, Thomas Allen Swann; 11 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 16, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 N. 6th Ave in Hopewell. Shirley's funeral ceremony will be on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Jerry Davis officiating. Final rest will be private at a later date.
