Sharon M. Scott

Sharon Marston Scott, 64, of Hopewell went to be with The Lord on Sunday, May 20, 2018. She was the daughter of James Walter and Nannie Mae Hendricks Marston; and is preceded in death by her brothers, Henry, William and Hudson Marston and her loving husband of 30 years, Robert J. "Pop" Scott. Sharon is survived by her daughter, Janet Scott Aprahamian (Bryan); three sons, Walter E. Scott, Sr. (Laura), Dennis L. Scott (Jennifer) and Jody W. Scott (Sharon); 14 grandchildren, Chris Aprahamian, Stephenie Arms , Aaron Aprahamian, Brandon Scott, Trenton Scott, Zackary Scott, Nick Ashley, Taylor "Bug" Scott, Rylee Ashley, Owen Aprahamian, Robert Scott, Walter Scott, Jr., Logan Ashley, Troy Scott; two great grandchildren, Violette and Autumn Arms and sister, Connie M. Clark. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory, 214 N 6th Ave in Hopewell. Sharon's funeral ceremony will be on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Final rest will conclude in Appomattox Cemetery.
