Sandra Maxine Myers

Sandra Maxine Myers, 75, of Petersburg went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 5, 2017. She is preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Cora Mae Smith Sturkey and a brother, Fenneson Wayne Sturkey, Sr. Sandy is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, George Henry Myers, Sr.; her daughters, Wanda Cherubini (Charles Sr.), Betty Myers-Knight, Tamara Gage (Eric); son, George H. Myers, Jr. (Audrey); nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brothers, Charles Sturkey, Michael Sturkey and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends on Saturday July 8, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at New Jerusalem Fellowship Church, 5500 Middle Road Prince George VA 23875 for her celebration of life at the church. Final rest will be private. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to New Jerusalem Fellowship Church in honor of Sandy.
