Norma Christine Dodson

Norma Christine Dodson, 80, of Hopewell passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2013 in the Riverview on the Appomattox. Mrs. Dodson was preceded in death by her parents, George Edward and Nell Dance Moore, her husband, William Robert Dodson, a son, Mark Lee Dodson, brother, Glenn Edward Moore and was a retired secretary with the Hopewell School System. She is survived by two daughters, Jean D. Dutton and JoAnn S. Slaughter, two brothers, Donald Earl Moore (Patsy) and George Allen Moore (Diane), three grandchildren, Stephen R. Slaughter, Erica D. Larsen and Robert A. Trussler, five great grandchildren, Haley M. Slaughter, Gary E. and Lillian F. Larsen, Madison and Caleb Ryan. A funeral service will be conducted 12:00 Noon Saturday, April 13, 2013 at the Memorial Funeral Home- Gould Chapel, 214 N. 6th Avenue, Hopewell, VA with visitation one hour prior to service. Memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
