Mildred Virginia Koliadko

• Mildred Virginia Koliadko, 89, of Hopewell, passed away on Friday March 27, 2015. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years Dr. Joseph I. Koliadko; parents, Joseph and Virginia Bendall; brothers, Richard and Alfred Bendall. Mrs. Koliadko graduated from Mountain Sanitarium and Hospital in Fletcher, NC as a Registered Nurse, doing her nursing residency at the University of Virginia. She practiced nursing in several hospitals before beginning a long career as a nursing instructor at Johnston Willis Hospital School of Nursing in Richmond, VA. She was an active member of the Yale Seventh-day Adventist Church. Mildred is survived by a son, Joseph I. Koliadko, Jr., and his wife Carol of Palmer, Alaska, daughter, Charlene Koliadko Wiedemann and her husband, Werner of Luray, VA., five grandchildren, Kelly, Brody, and Randy Wiedemann, Katherine and Kristine Koliadko, brothers, Joseph Bendall Jr., Henry Bendall and Lee Bendall, sisters, Marie Bendall, Leena Wood, Ruth Ann Imbraguglio, numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM Friday April 10, 2015 at Yale Seventh-day Adventist Church 19155 Courthouse Road Yale, Virginia 23897.
