Mildred Perdue Huffman

Mildred Perdue Huffman, 90, of Prince George, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 2, 2015. She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Waymouth Huffman; her daughter, Regina Golding; her son, Wendell Huffman; three grandchildren; a great grandson; her sister, Rachel Mowbray and a host of numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mildred's passions included tending to her garden, sewing, cooking, camping or anything outdoors and especially traveling and dancing with Waymouth. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home, 214 N. 6th Avenue in Hopewell. Her funeral service will be at 7 p.m. in the funeral home. A second service and interment will take place in her hometown of Roanoke. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be sent to West End Presbyterian Church.
