Michael W. Swimelar

Michael W. Swimelar, 55, of Hopewell, passed away on Tuesday September 23, 2014. He was the son of the late Hubert A. Swimelar, Sr. He is survived by his mother Elizabeth Samko Swimelar and a brother Hubert A. Swimelar, Jr, both of Hopewell. Michael was employed for the past 25 years as a Maintenance Mechanic for Kaiser Aluminum, and was an avid outdoors man who loved hunting and fishing. The family will receive friends on Tuesday September 30, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home 214 N. 6th Ave Hopewell, Virginia.
