Melva Helen Morris

MORRIS, Melva Helen, 98, of Lillington, N.C., formerly Hopewell, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October, 27, 2015. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Thomas and Roberta Robinson Morris. Melva is survived by her brother, Jimmy Morris; her niece, Kay Thomas; numerous great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends. Melva was a teacher for Prince George for over 35 years and a lifetime member of First Baptist Church in Hopewell. She had an incredible talent for music and was everyone's favorite Avon Lady for over 25 years. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 2, 2015 from 12 to 2 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory, 214 N. 6th Ave in Hopewell. Her funeral ceremony will follow in the funeral home.
