Marion Boyette Campbell

Marion Boyette Campbell, 78, of Hopewell passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2013 in the Medical College of Virginia Hospital. Mrs. Campbell was preceded in death by her parents, Walter L. and Lucy Daniels Boyette Brooks, husband, Otto A. Campbell, two sisters, Sarah Whisenant and Gladys Forehand, brother, Mills Boyette, son, Rickie Allen Campbell and life partner, Johnnie Lett. Marion was semi- retired from Roses Department Store after forty four years of service in customer service and a member of the First Congregational Christian Church. She is survived by two daughters, Shelia Sanders (Danny) and Julie Nash (Stephen), two sons, Gregory Campbell (Sandra) and John Campbell (Denise), twelve grandchildren, Danielle (David), Shawn, Danette, Daniel, Rickie II, Stephen II (Ashley), Heather, Michelle, Crystal, David, Breanne and Austin, nine great grandchildren, Emma, Sara, Rudy, Isabella, Madisyn, Ezra, Chelsea, Reed and Hayden, six sisters, Clara Morse, Doris Shields, Magdalene (Boo) Jones, Elsie Johnson, Naomi Jenkins and Rachel Rollins, five brothers, Paul Boyette (Imogene), David Boyette (Dottie), Joseph, Jacob and Richard Boyette, also numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Sunday, January 13, 2013 at the Memorial Funeral Home-Gould Chapel, 214 N. 6th Avenue, Hopewell, VA and where funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Monday, January 14, 2013 with Rev. J. Bruce Catron officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
