M. Pat Adams

M. R. Pat Adams, age 92 of Hopewell, Va. left us November 8, 2012. Pat was a switchboard operator at John Randolph Hospital for 38 years and at Poplar Springs for 11 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hollis Ted Adams and her parents, Leonard Wood Rust and Leila McKee Rust. She is survived by; four children and their families; Douglas and Becky Adams, Holly Adams-Barnes, Linda and Steve Nelson, Laura Beth and Robert Purcell; six grandchildren, Rob and Cindy Barnes, Scott Barnes, Jenny and Eddie Webb, Ted Stoveken and Daker and Misty Hardin, and Neicole and Joseph Lewis; fourteen great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. She was a friend to all, and will be truly missed. We'll love you always mama. The family will receive friends 4:00 PM to 6 :00 PM Sunday, November 11, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home, Gould Chapel and where funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, November 12, 2012 with interment in Southlawn Memorial Park.
