Lola Miller Lane

Lola Miller Lane, 95, of Hopewell, passed away on Saturday May 11, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents; Charles Roscoe and Locie Cole Miller, her husband of 44 years, Roy B. Lane, 4 sisters and 5 brothers, with Lola being the last surviving sister. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and her family was her life. She is survived by her sons; Gary L. Lane and wife Dolores of Hopewell, Ted R. Lane and wife Belinda of Prince George, daughter; Barbara L. Eastman and husband Wayne of Clarksville, Virginia, grandchildren; Julia Lee, Sherrie Coleman, Michelle Hines, Sara Jackson, Tony Lane, Kari Lewallen, and Jeanette Lane, 9 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory Guild Chapel on Monday May 13, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM., with a graveside service in Southlawn Memorial Park on Tuesday May 14, 2013 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that contributions be made to Frances Holland-Woo Dave's Group Home C/O Super Kids Ministries P.O. Box 637 Hopewell, Virginia.
