Katchig Abrahamian

Katchig "Mike" Abrahamian, 87, of Hopewell, passed away Thursday July 16, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arpiar and Araxi Aprahamian, loving wife Bobbie Yvonne Abrahamian, and a son William Katchig Abrahamian. Katchig is survived by one son Gary Abrahamian, five daughters; Tonette Burlison, Terri Abrahamian, Sandra Aldridge, Patti Elder, Christy Adams, 20 grandchildren, and 25 great grandchildren. He was the Supervisor of the Hopewell City Garage and retired after 30 years of dedicated service, loved doing yard work and his grandchildren were the apple of his eye. He will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him. Mike will lie in state in the funeral home chapel from Saturday July 18 to Monday July 20, 2015. The family will receive friends from 2PM to 4PM on Sunday July 19, 2015 at Memorial Funeral Home 214 N. 6th Ave, Hopewell. A funeral service will be held 11:00AM on Tuesday July 21, 2015 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Appomattox Cemetery. Condolences may be registered at www.memorialfh.com.
