Julios Dayton "JD" McNew, 80, of Waverly passed away Sunday, November 17, 2013 in the Hopewell Health Care Center. Julios is survived by four children, Betty M. Lang, Gary W. McNew, Teresa M. Jordon and Phyllis M. Smith and her husband Donald, a brother, Dean W. McNew, a sister, Martha B. Hicks, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 pm Wednesday, November20, 2013 at the Memorial Funeral Home, 214 N. 6th Avenue, Hopewell, VA. Funeral services will be private.
