John Albert Mayes

John Albert Mayes, 89, of Hopewell passed away Thursday, March 7, 2013 in John Randolph Medical Center. Mr. Mayes is survived by four daughters, Shelia Conklin, Rebecca Mayes, Pat Winsor and Jonna Mayes, a son, Ronald Stagner and sister, Gaynelle Elder. The family will received friends from 6:00 to 8:30 pm Monday, March 11, 2013 at the Memorial Funeral Home-Gould Chapel, 214 N. 6th Avenue, Hopewell, VA and where funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm Tuesday, March 12, 2013 with the Rev. Dr. Ruth Burgess officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
