Joanne Catalano Gosnell

Lt.Col. Joanne Catalano Gosnell passed away Friday, August 8, 2014 in the Brighter Living Assisted Living. Mrs. Gosnell was a member of the St. James Catholic Church and retired from the U.S. Army Nurse Corp in 1983. She is survived by her husband, Charles D. Gosnell, a step-daughter, Noreen Gill-Scott of Jefferson City, South Dakota and a sister, Vinnie Ruffol. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00pm Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at the Memorial Funeral Home, 214 N. 6th Avenue, Hopewell. A rite of Christian burial will be conducted 11:00 am Wednesday, August 13, 2014 in St. James Catholic Church with Father Christopher Hess. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
