James Bess

BESS, James Brice "J.B.", 30, of Colonial Heights passed away February 13, 2016. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sheryl King Bess and his son, James Bentley Bess. He is survived by his wife, Rose Norvell Bess; sister, Ashley Brooke Bess; niece, Kaylee; nephew, Jaxston; brother, Joe Bess; grandmother, Sandra King Sahnow (Billy); father-in-law, Larry Norvell and numerous, aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends at Memorial Funeral Home, 214 N 6th Avenue, Hopewell Va. 23860 from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, February 20. His funeral service will be held in the chapel immediately following visitation with Rev. Pamela H. Culler officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sherbourne UMC, J.B. Bess Memorial fund, 2619 Sherbourne Road, N. Chesterfield, VA 23237.
