Iva Cleton Mccoy

Iva Cleton McCoy, 81, of Hopewell went to be with her heavenly father on May 17, 2014. Iva was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David G. McCoy and her parents, Stanley and Ella Burton Wilson. Mrs. McCoy was a retired hairdresser and a member of the Church of Christ. She is survived by a brother, Barry Wilson (Bonnie), four sisters, June Gallimore, Rachel Vise (Charlie), Jean Callaway (Rod) and Diane Mitchell (Carson), two sister-in-laws, Catherine Wyatt and Barbara McCoy, numerous nieces and nephews; also her church family. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 pm Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at the Memorial Funeral Home, 214 N. 6th Avenue, Hopewell, VA. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at the Church of Christ, 4th and Cawson St. Hopewell with Mr. Mural Worthey officiating. Interment will follow in Appomattox Cemetery.
