Harry Lee Meadows

Harry Lee Meadows, 71, of Hopewell passed away on Sunday August 2, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late Charlie and Lorena Meadows. Harry was an avid hunter and loved to fish even though his wife Shirley could catch more than he did. His greatest passion was working on antique automobiles. He loved his family and spending time with them and it was said that Harry never met a stranger. He is survived by his loving wife Shirley, daughters; Sherry M. Meadows, Crystal D. Milam (Eddie), grandchildren; Daniel Wayne Thorne, Chelsea Marie Keheley, Christopher Mathew Hawkins, Casey Jane Hawkins, great granddaughter; Alayna Marie Keheley, brother; Gene T. Meadows(Pat), sister; Leigh Wilkinson, brother-in-law; Dan H. Roberts(Wanda), nephews; Leonard Wilkinson, Scott Meadows, and a niece; Jennifer Meadows Desanto. The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 5, 2015, from 6 PM to 8 PM at Memorial Funeral Home in Hopewell, funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday August 6, 2015 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Bermuda Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the American Cancer Association. Condolences may be registered at www.memorialfh.com.
