Gloria "Cecelia" Joseph

Gloria (Cecelia) Joseph, age 68, of Chester, Virginia, passed away on November 26, 2020. She was born in Hopewell, Virginia on August 15, 1952, where she spent her childhood years. After attending high school and college in Virginia, Gloria adventured to the west coast and lived in California and Nevada until she had her twins, Diona and Ryan. She moved back to Virginia to be close to her mother, Edna, and raised her children in Chester, where she lived the rest of her life. Gloria had a strong work ethic and, in her thirties, was employed as bar manager at the Peppermint Lounge and later at The Farmers Market in Petersburg. During her life, she successfully managed several retail stores but always made time to head to her favorite beaches and enjoy life! Gloria is preceded in death by her parents, Edna and Adel Joseph, and survived by her children, Diona and Ryan. She also leaves behind her companion of 22 years, Ron Jones. Gloria was a beautiful precious person and will always be loved and never forgotten.
