Esther Dolin Charvat

Esther Dolin Charvat, 90, of Hopewell passed away Sunday, December 1, 2013 in the John Randolph Medical Center. Mrs. Charvat was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry C. Charvat, Jr. and her parents, Eugene C. and Bessie Patterson Dolin. She is survived by two daughters, Jean Larremore and Vickie Pinkston, two sons, Jerry C. Charvat III (Susan) and Richard C. Charvat (Theresa), nine grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews of which she could recite names, ages and birthdays. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 pm Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at the Memorial Funeral Home, 214 N.6th Avenue, Hopewell, VA. A graveside service will be conducted 10:00 am Thursday, December 5, 2013 in Appomattox Cemetery with Rev. Mark Houser officiating.
