Emma Margaret Minor

Emma Margaret Minor, 96, of Prince George went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 15, 2016 after a brief illness. She was born in Hopewell, VA on January 9, 1920 to Andrew and Eva Kovalick. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Charles Minor, Jr.; daughter, Jeanette Fulcher and sisters, Mary Kei, Josephine Balazik, Katie Janosik and Anna Martin. Left to cherish her memory are her sons and daughters-in-law; Edward C. Minor, III (Peggy) and Bernard Wayne Minor (Janice); seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Emma was baptized in St. James Catholic Church where she attended faithfully until health intervened. Aside from being a homemaker, she worked at Tubize, Firestone Synthetic Fibers and L.L. Beasley Elementary School Cafeteria. The family will receive friends at St. James Catholic Church, 510 W. Poythress St. in Hopewell City on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 10 a.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Final rest will be at Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens following the Mass.
