Elizabeth Swimelar

Elizabeth Swimelar, 85, of Hopewell went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 7, 2015. She is preceded in death by her parents, the late Barbara and John Samko; her husband of over 40 years, Hubert Arthur Swimelar, Sr. and a son, Michael Swimelar. Elizabeth is survived by her son, Hubert Swimelar, Jr.; 2 sisters, Julia and Mary; a devoted niece, Rachel and many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 9, 2015 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory, 214 N. 6th Ave. A graveside service will be on Friday, July 10, 2015 at 2 p.m. in Sunset Memorial Park in Chester.
