Edward Dean Hill

1965 — November 16, 2022

My sweet father, Eddie (Edward Dean Hill), 57 of Hopewell, Virginia went to be with our Lord and savior on November-16-2022 with his daughter along side of him. Born March-5-1966 in Maxwelton West V.A, he has been reunited with his parents: Loving Mother whom he cared for so dearly: Shelby Jean Starke (Hayes), Father: Jack Raymond Hill Sr. Along with his Sister: Cathy Ann Hill and Late grandparents. Eddie will be remembered and missed so much as a Devoted Father to his Daughter, Loving and caring is an understatement. My Father was one heck of a man who could do it ALL, he worked most of his life in construction, carpentry even up until his sudden passing. Building houses, remolding, he could build a house from the ground up and a car too, you want it done you tell him and he would give you better then what you could imagine. His work was him and he was very particular in all he done at home and on the job it touched him when his customers were over joyed with what they asked for of him he would give you better then what you imagined nothing meant more then his customers happy. Wasn’t nothing he couldn’t fix or make. What He enjoyed so much was making knives and he was so proud of those knives, fishing, sewing, drawing(flames) especially, he could draw just about anything he visioned, he enjoyed cooking of all kinds and specially cooking on that smoker, going to the out door flea markets and finding old antique things, laughing with friends and going for rides. He loved them crawdads and picking them up, he loved animals, and watching the race, his music was rock/heavy metal, Eddie was so talented and artistic, He was a very hard working man all of his life and so much of a humble person who wanted to teach everything he knew to anyone he came around especially to his daughter and granddaughters whom he loved so very much. He was caring and loving he loved plants and he could keep them alive too, he like odd looking things especially little nik naks, He has left an impact on us and memories that are to cherish forever my father knew the lord and was a believer may his soul rest peacefully Forever in our hearts, Daddy/PawPaw we LOVE YOU so much Survived by his beloved Daughter: Brittany Leigh Hill (Rhonda Lee Maupin) Granddaughters: Dúsu and Ai’chja Kromah Brothers: Richie Hill, Andy Hill, Jack Hill Uncles and Aunts of West V.A Nieces and Nephews Loving friends: Longtime Childhood friend/sister Christina(Duck) Katina of Hopewell, Va along with so many more loving friends, customers, doctors, Emt’s we want to Thank You ALL, May my father be free and his soul rest. Celebration of Life to be Followed all family and friends who would like to attend. Brittany will be Intouch.
