David Eugene Minor

David Eugene Minor, Sr., 83, of Prince George passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mike Minor and Erma White Minor and a son, Gerald Wayne Minor. David is survived by his loving wife of over 60 years, Sheila Craven Minor; son, David Minor, Jr. and two granddaughters, Bethany Minor Griffin (Ashby) and Kaitlin Sue Minor. He was a long time attendee of Fort Lee Memorial Chapel. He served 28 years with Virginia Army National Guard and U.S. Army, serving in Desert Shield Desert Storm, retiring in 2000. David finished his civilian career after 42 years of service with Smurfit-Stone Container in 2010.
