David Wayne Kirk

David Wayne Kirk, 55, of Hopewell passed away Saturday, January 11, 2014 in Johnston Willis Hospital. David was a supervisor with the City of Richmond Water Treatment Plant and was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmie and Pauline M. Cochran Kirk, and brother, Jimmy Kirk. He is survived by his wife, Sharla Kirk, three children, Daniel Kirk, Ashley Little and Jeremy Zornes (Pam), a step-son, Joe Owens, two sisters, Nora Brown (David) and Dorothy Patterson (John), brother-in-law, David Shumate (Kelly), sister-in-law, Cynthia Zornes-Scott (Jimmy) and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at the Memorial Funeral Home, 214 N.6th Avenue, Hopewell and where funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 15, 2014 with Father Jay Wagner officiating. Interment will follow in Bermuda Memorial Park.
