David Carl Boyette

BOYETTE, David Carl, 73, of Hopewell went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 17, 2015. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lucy Daniel and Walter W. Boyette. David is survived by his loving wife of several years, Dottie Watson Boyette; his two sons, Brian K. Boyette and Timothy D. Boyette; grandchildren, Brian Boyette II, Kayla Dawn Boyette and Noah Lee Boyette; and many sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. David retired from Philip Morris Park 500 as a maintenance worker after 26 years of service and was a member of the Sons of the American Legion. He will always be remembered by his family as a great husband, father and grandfather. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 24, 2015 from 5 to 6 p.m. at Memorial Funeral & Cremation Service, 214 N. 6th Avenue in Hopewell. His memorial service will follow in the funeral home with Rev. J. Bruce Catron officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to VCU Masey Cancer Center, P.O.
