Darlene Mabel Ward

Darlene Mable Ward, 63, of Hopewell, Virginia, passed away November 18, 2020. She was the daughter to Robert Cooke and Louise Polk born in Blacks Harbor, Canada. She is survived by her children, Crystal M. Farmer (David), Thomas Lawless, III (Darla), James Manor (Krista), Richard Manor, Jenny Krimm (Tyson), and Nicholas Ward. Grandchildren, Cora Evans, Brian Washington, Lindsey Evans, Blaine Dudley, and James Lee Manor. Darlene is preceded in death by her parents Robert E. Cooke and Louise Polk. Darlene was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where she met many lifelong friends. She will be remembered for her love of all things beach related. Her favorite pass time was sitting on the beach with a good book likely written by James Patterson. Her favorite beach to visit was Emerald Isle, NC. A memorial service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Prince George, Va. on Saturday, November 28, 2020 from 5:00pm-6:00pm. Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, this will be a private service.
