Christien Joseph Parent

Christien John Joseph Parent, 72, of Chester passed away Monday, October 7, 2013 at his home. Mr. Parent was preceded in death by his wife, Marita Parent. Christien was a retired U.S. Army veteran serving in Vietnam and receiving two Bronze Stars during his career. He is survived by his son Frank J. Parent and wife Martha, a granddaughter, Catherine "Cat" Parent and a sister, Ann Allen. The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm Friday, October 11, 2013 at the Memorial Chapel on Fort Lee Base with a funeral service at 1:30 pm. Interment will be in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
