Charlotte Parrish Parker

Charlotte Parrish Parker, 66, of Charles City passed away Saturday, July 27, 2013 in the MCV-VCU Medical Center. Charlotte was a member of Friends and Family of 508th PIR, a dancer, scuba diver, student pilot, world traveler and has been to Machu Picchu. Now retired from Anthem she kept busy knitting , and "stamping up" with the girls in Charles City. Her smile could light up a room and she was devoted to her niece and nephews. She is survived by her devoted husband of forty five years, Joseph "Joe" M. Parker, sister, Shannon Rackley, brother, Donald Gregory, three nephews, Gage Rackley, Derrick Gregory and Spiers Middlebrooks, and niece, Cheyenne Rackley. A memorial service will be conducted 1:00 pm Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at the Memorial Funeral Home-Gould Chapel, 214 N. 6th Avenue, Hopewell, VA with Rev. Bert Duckwall officiating. Interment will be private.
