Charles Allan Bradley

Charles Allan Bradley, 74, of Hopewell went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 27, 2017. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Jewel Neace Bradley; a brother, David Bradley and an infant sister, Nancy Bradley. Charles is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Ethel Bradley; sons, Charles "Allan" Bradley, Jr. (Sharon) and Brian Anthony Bradley (Elaine); stepdaughters, Diane Hayden (David), Rose Radar; seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren; siblings, Joe, John, Margaret Reynolds, Dolores Carr, Cecil, Ralph, Naomi Brown and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Charles is a veteran of the U.S. Marines Corps and was an active corrections officer with over 54 years of dedicated service. He enjoyed public speaking especially making a difference with the youth. Charles was also involved with Moose Legion and the American Legion. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home, 214 N. 6th Ave in Hopewell. His funeral ceremony will follow on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Final rest will be in Appomattox Cemetery. Condolences may be registered online at www.memorialfh.com.
