Betty Jane Rosser Lowder

Betty Jane Rosser Lowder, 86, of Hopewell, passed away on Monday October 26, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore Evans and Mary Martha Denney Rosser and her husband Richard E. Lowder. Betty was employed by the Hopewell School System for many years prior to her retirement, was well known for her arts and crafts, loved traveling with her husband Richard, and especially loved the trips to Sunken Meadows every spring. Betty always enjoyed the frequent visits from her grandchildren. She is survived by her sons; Jonathan Stephen Lowder(Sandra), Richard Rosser Lowder(Pamela), and Ted Denney Lowder(Diane), grandchildren; Jonathan and Jodie Lowder, Josh and Sierra Lowder, Beth Glass(Robert), Mary Sebra(Thad), Susan Lowder, Perry Lowder, great grandchild Jace Lowder, brother; Jerry Rosser(Virginia), numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Wednesday October 28, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Memorial Funeral Home in Hopewell. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Hopewell Emergency Crew.
