Bernice Mae Vick Westerman

Bernice Mae Vick Westerman, 90, of Burlington NC, formerly of Hopewell, passed away on Sunday September 27, 2015 with her daughter by her side. She was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Westerman, Jr., parents, Luther B. and Gladys Taylor Vick, brothers; Raymond Vick, Samuel Vick, and Luther Vick, Jr. Bernice was a loving mother, wife, grandmother and great grandmother. She was always supportive of her family and placed them above all else. Her face would always light up whenever her grandchildren were around her. She is survived by sons; William C. Westerman III, Raymond L. Westerman, daughters; Mary Ann Williams, Shirley M. Leath, Joyce E. Sandoval, brother; Charles M. Vick, sisters; Emily Amos, Rose Martin, 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday September 30, 6-8 PM at Memorial Funeral Home 214 N 6th Ave Hopewell, Va.
